Once, it was said that Google would create Operation System (GOS). GOS has not appeared, however, people all over the world have not lost their guesses. This can be verified by the 80600000 search results of "Google Operation System" at Google.
To my knowledge, there is not any official message about GOS, but we can see more and more desktop tools emitting from Google Lab. Google Desktop Search, Google Earth, Google Toolbar, Google Picasa, Google Pinyin Input method, and there will be more.
This trend reminds me of a word of Chairman Mao, encircling the cities from rural areas. Is this Google's strategy?
